Delivery Information

Wheelfreedom is a national wheelchair hire company, able to deliver a range of mobility equipment including wheelchairs, orthopaedic leg trolleys, knee scooters and bath lifts across the UK. All our products are covered by full international insurance and a next-day replacement service.

Delivery Prices

At the time of order you can select your preferred delivery day. For your convenience, we offer a morning delivery with all our products, and we are able to deliver on the next working day, provided that we receive your order by 3.30pm. Delivery and collection cost £15 each way for all our wheelchairs, knee trolleys and ramps, with the exception of the Tilt in Space wheelchair.

If you need more than one piece of equipment, subsequent items will be charged at £7.50 each way, provided that all the items are collected together at the end of the hire; otherwise an additional charge is required for separate collections.

We also offer a Saturday delivery for an additional £10 and a before 10.30am service for as additional £5. These can be selected during the order process or when speaking to one of the team.

Delivery Process

We track all our deliveries to ensure that they arrive on time, and our team is always available should you have any concerns. If you are not able to be in, we can deliver to a neighbour or a safe area at your property.

Should you have further delivery requirements, we may be able to assist, and we are able to offer a same-day delivery service within the London area. For further information, please contact one of our team.

All our deliveries are made by a national courier in a custom-made Wheelfreedom box. The box is collapsible, so it can be stored easily, and should be retained for collection. This ensures that the whole process is as simple as possible.

Collection

You can end your wheelchair hire, leg trolley hire, ramp hire or bath lift hire at any time by requesting collection online or by phoning us. There is no notice period required, and we are able to collect your wheelchair on the next working day after you contact us. You will receive an email the day before your requested collection date confirming the address and time.

As with our deliveries, we can collect your wheelchair from a porch or similar safe area, should you not be able to stay in. Additionally, we are able to collect from a different address to the delivery address - perfect when taking a wheelchair on holiday or to visit relatives.

Tilt in Space Wheelchair Delivery

The exception to these delivery arrangements is our Tilt in Space wheelchair. If you are interested in hiring a Tilt in Space wheelchair please contact us to discuss the different delivery options. We can offer our next day courier service for £20 each way. Under this service the wheelchair would arrive in a box and require some assembly. If the assembly will be a problem we have other options available, including technician home delivery across the UK and a same day delivery service throughout London. Tilt in Space wheelchair hire is also known as comfort wheelchair hire.

Wheelchair Hire Across Mainland Britain

We are able to offer a hire service across mainland Britain. However there is an additional delivery and collection charge if the delivery and/or collection are to the Scottish highlands. Please see below to check that your local town or city does not lie outside of the standard delivery area.
