Wheelfreedom are pleased to announce that we’ll soon be offering Pride Mobility’s range of advanced Quantum powerchairs. The Quantum range encompasses a number of different models of powered wheelchairs that cater to people with a range of needs, with wheelchairs for indoor and outdoor use, as well as specialist bariatric and paediatric wheelchairs.
Different seating options are available, including powered tilt and lift, as well as anti-shear recline, to assist with postural needs. Quantum chairs can set up with one of several seating systems, including Synergy, Tru-Comfort Plus and Euro Seat 2. This ensures the seat gives the proper support needed by the user, as well as suiting a range of budgets.
The Quantum range is known for its bariatric specialism, an area that many other manufacturers don’t cater to. This includes heavy duty bariatric powerchairs such as the Quantum 1650, which has a hefty weight capacity of 46 stone – far more than that found on typical wheelchairs. Quantum powerchairs typically come with mid-wheel drive and advanced suspension to offer both manoeuvrability indoors and impressive performance outside, making them a versatile option. These powerchairs will become available over the coming weeks for both hire and purchase.
