Trade Days 2017: What It Means for You

Invalid Date

On Monday, we attended Trade Days 2017, an annual event exclusively for those who work within the manufacture, supply and retail of home care, independent living and assisted technology. This trade event allows us to witness first-hand exciting new equipment and ideas, meaning we can keep you up to date with all the latest news and forthcoming products.

Being Europe’s sole trade only show for the mobility sector, the event was full of new and exciting innovations from Sunrise Medical, Invacare and Pride, to name a few. Pride debuted the Zero Turn boot scooter, whose revolutionary twin-motor design allows it to turn on the spot. We have now been able to confirm that the scooter will be released before the end of this year, and is expected to arrive with us in early December, making us one of the first dealers able to supply the Zero Turn.

Keeping up to date with the latest technology in the mobility industry is very important to Wheelfreedom, and allows us to help our customers as best we can. The event proved to be an excellent opportunity for the senior management team to talk business and attain the best and most exciting new products for our customers, to assist their day-to-day lives.

Other items on show included Invacare’s new LiNX powerchair controls, the refreshed TDX range and a first glimpse of the Sunrise Medical Q100 entry-level powerchair. Wheelfreedom Managing Director Giles Donald noted that it was “particularly promising to see that manufacturers are increasingly receptive to consumer and dealer input on product design”, leading to equipment that serves customers’ needs much better.
