Stannah Siena

Stannah's most popular stairlift, the Siena is freshly designed and can be customised to match your décor. The Siena can be fitted to both straight and curved staircases, and comes with a swivel seat as standard.

Product Description

The Siena is Stannah's most popular stairlift, and makes a smart addition to any home. It features fresh, contemporary styling and simple contours, and can be finished in your choice of vinyl or woven fabric upholsteries. It is even possible to have a coloured rail to further complement your décor.

Both straight stairs and curved ones can benefit from the Siena, which fits to all of Stannah's rail solutions. Light-touch easy to use controls are designed so that those with limited dexterity can use them - they can even be activated with your hand, arm or wrist.

The seat is available in two sizes, and comes with either a manual or powered swivel to make getting on and off as easy as possible. The footrest can be folded without needing to bend down, and there is even the option to get an automatic footrest fold button integrated into the armrest for the ultimate in convenience.

Safety features include an ergonomically designed seatbelt, and a key to immobilise the stairlift if required.

Pricing

Our stairlifts are customised to suit both you and your home, and the price is heavily dependent on the layout of your staircase. For this reason it is not possible to quote for a stairlift until we have arranged for an assessor to visit your house. The price is usually affected by factors such as:

  • Type of staircase - straight stairlifts are generally cheaper than curved ones, and indoor stairlifts are cheaper than outdoor ones. The angle of your stairs, the space available at both top and bottom of your staircase, and the height of the bulkhead on the stairs can all impact on cost too.

  • Whether any adaptations are needed to fit the stairlift. Common adaptations include moving a radiator or trimming a windowsill.

  • Optional functions chosen on the stairlift, when available, such as powered swivel can add to the cost.

Most people using stairlifts will be eligible for zero-rated VAT. Those with a disability, chronic sickness or terminal illness are eligible for 0% VAT. If the person using the stairlift is not eligible for zero-rated VAT but is over 60 then they can get a reduced rate of 5% VAT. Our assessors can advise on your VAT status when they visit you.
