Bank Holiday Wheelchair Hire

Wed Aug 22 2018

The summer bank holiday weekend is approaching, and this means that we will be closed on Monday 27th August. For those ordering one of our manual products, orders will need to be placed by 3:30pm on Friday 24th if you want to receive this before the holiday. We will open as usual on Tuesday 26th August. So, it is not too late to get those orders in for your weekend, wherever you decide to go.

This includes one of our most popular products the Breezy Moonlite. Known to most as the lightweight foldable wheelchair, this wheelchair is compact, comfortable and built with a sturdy aluminium frame. Being self-propelled not only means that the user can wheel the chair themselves, as well as have an attendant push them, but also means the chair is more manoeuvrable and the larger surface area of the wheels ensure it is capable of moving comfortably over most types of ground, having been designed for use both indoors and outdoors.

Weighing in at only 13.5kg and folding down to a compact 28.5 x 13.2 inches, it is the perfect hire for those bank holiday weekends away as it fits comfortably in the boot of most cars and is accepted by all major airlines without hassle. All of our folding manual products are also fully insured to be taken abroad, anywhere in the world, making it the ideal way to give some independence back to family members with any sort of mobility problem. For additional space saving, the backrest can fold down, and both the footplates and wheels can be quickly detached.

Our lightweight foldable wheelchair comes in two sizes, the standard 18-inch seat, suitable for most adults up to the weight capacity of 18 stone, and a narrower 16-inch seat, ideal for children who have outgrown paediatric chairs, or more slender adults.

For more information on our opening times and our wheelchair hire, or to place an order, call us on 0800 0258 005 or contact us through our Facebook page, or via Twitter @Wheelfreedom.
