COVID-19 Situation Update

Wheelfreedom are committed to minimising the risk of COVID-19 to our customers and colleagues, and are taking all appropriate steps in line with government guidance. We appreciate that this will be a difficult time for many of our customers, and as such we continue to operate our full range of services, whether you need a wheelchair urgently for hospital discharge, a powerchair to maintain independence, or a mobility scooter to get to the shops.
The situation is dynamic with guidance changing daily, however Wheelfreedom are actively monitoring the situation to ensure we follow all current government guidelines. All of our products have always gone through a stringent decontamination process at our London HQ, but we have stepped up precautions further with new procedures.
At present we are not allowing external visitors into our site – if you need to collect or return equipment, please call us to make alternative arrangements. Additionally, our couriers (in much the same way as Royal Mail) will not have direct contact with customers, and will instead log names on delivery rather than requesting a signature. As always, we can ask them to deliver to or collect from a safe place, should you be self-isolating or are not able to be present.
Our product specialists are still carrying out home consultations and deliveries, but are taking additional precautions to ensure your safety, including the use of hand sanitiser, disposable gloves and maintaining social distancing.
