The backrest of our reclining Children's wheelchair is comfortably padded, and can be reclined up to 30° by an attendant using the convenient triggers located on the backrest handles. The back can then be locked in at a number of angles simply by releasing the triggers, allowing the wheelchair user to stay comfortably reclined.
Transport
With a lightweight, folding aluminium frame, our children's reclining wheelchair is more transportable than a larger tilt in space wheelchair, although it should be noted that unlike our standard Children's Wheelchair the backrest cannot be folded down for transport.
Features
Large self-propelled wheels gives a comfortable ride, and also allow the child to propel themselves if needed. Anti-tip wheels and a seatbelt help ensure the safety of the child. The armrests can be removed should side-transfer be needed.
Options
Our Children's Reclining Wheelchair comes with a canvas seat sling as standard, which is suitable for regular everyday use. An additional 2" thick foam cushion can also be hired for extra comfort should the child be spending longer periods of time in the wheelchair. - this costs an additional £2 (ex VAT) per week.
