The Eppur Skeed wheels are made with an innovative braking system, designed to reduce effort by fivefold. Users can brake or slow down with just their fingers on the operating lever instead of the hand rims, keeping their hands clean from dirt on the hand rims when travelling outdoors. The Skeed wheels eliminate fatigue and strain on the upper body and prevent friction burns, which can be particularly helpful when pushing through slopes. Even in the rain, the Skeed wheel is just as effective because its mechanism is moisture-protected.

Each Skeed wheel weighs just 2.15 kg, keeping your wheelchair responsive and portable. Regardless of your current equipment, the Skeed wheels can be fitted to most wheelchair configurations and are made to be compatible with a powered add-on. 

Depending on your preferences and current mobility, you can choose between the para or tetra handlebars. The para handlebar works best for users who prefer to brake with their fingers, whereas the tetra handlebar gives better control to users who prefer to use their wrist.

The Skeed’s lever mechanism can be more convenient, but the Dreeft wheels offer a more affordable alternative. Opt for the Dreeft if you prefer a more affordable solution and are comfortable operating the hand rims. Choose the Skeed if you prefer the convenience of a lever.
