Incorporating the patented S Ergo Seat, the wheelchair is designed to optimise your comfort and postural support. The S Ergo Seat is made with ergonomic seating angles which have been scientifically proven to position the body in equilibrium. The positioning effectively alleviates discomfort caused by poor posture and encourages a healthy and stable posture. The support can be personalised to your body shape by adjusting the inserts located in the seat.

Intuitive user experience
Parts of the wheelchair are highlighted in orange for users to easily locate the attendant brakes, armrests and footrests. The Ergo 3 creates an intuitive experience for both the attendant and the user. There are attendant brakes which can be pushed to stop or pulled to release the brake. Flip the armrests up for easy transfer or remove the footrests to compactly store the Ergo 3.
The multi-functional side guards add convenience to your lifestyle. The inner sides of the side guard have pockets with zips for accessible storage, while the outer sides comprise a reflective design to provide visibility during your evening journeys.
Travel up and down cribs smoothly with the patented ergo anti-tipper. The anti-tips do not get in the way when moving down or up curbs.

The TGA Strongback self propelled wheelchair is another lightweight and foldable wheelchair with patented back support and attendant brakes. The Strongback is well-known for its uniquely curved seat which promotes a healthy posture, provides lumbar support and aligns the pelvis into an ergonomic position. Weighing only 11.3 kg, the Strongback is slightly lighter than the Ergo 3. Heavier users might benefit from opting for the Strongback as it can support up to 131 kg, while the Ergo 3 has a slightly lower weight capacity of 125 kg. However, the Ergo 3 has accessible side pockets and adjustable inserts for the seat. As both seats are patented and unique, it is advisable to try different seats to determine the most comfortable option for your body shape.
If you would like to choose from a bigger selection of seat sizes, the Invacare Action 2NG wheelchair is a similar self-propelled, lightweight and foldable wheelchair with five different seat widths available and an adjustable seat depth. The available seat widths range from 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 inches, and an optional 13-inch seat is available at an additional cost. Although the Action 2NG is slightly heavier at 14.9 kg, the Action 2NG is also the most cost-effective among the three wheelchairs.
