Opera Beds
Wheelfreedom have partnered with prestigious British bed manufacturers Opera for their comprehensive range of richly-featured profiling beds. All of their beds are highly functional, with adjustable positioning, and can raise and lower. They come in a range of sizes, and can be configured with a selection of complementary accessories such as overbed tables.
Unlike traditional electrically adjusting beds, when tend to look rather dated, Opera's beds feature contemporary styling, which also sets them apart from the "clinical" look of hospital beds. This allows them to fit seamlessly into any bedroom, and a range of finishes ensure they will match your décor.
Profiling Beds
Profiling beds help to assist the elderly and disabled with mobility and support, whilst also helping carers with nursing thanks to their height-adjustability. They allow you to raise the backrest up to sit up in bed, as well as raising the footrest and knee break to elevate your legs.
All the functions are operated independently by a wired handset that can be clipped to the side of your bed.

Signature Profiling Bed
The Signature Profiling Bed is part of Opera's Signature Collection, which features All-in-One height adjustability - it can be lowered to the floor or raised up to a carer's waist level, with a range of 24.5 - 73 cm.
It is available either with or without side rails, and in a choice of three widths - single (3'), wide single (3'6"), and small double (4'), and has an optional length extension available for taller people.
This elegantly-styled care bed features a customisable design, with a choice of Oak or Walnut wood finishes as standard, or a range of hundreds of others should you wish to personalise it further.
Our Verdict
The Signature Profiling Bed is the "standard" model within the Signature range, although it is far from "standard" as a bed! It offers a great value profiling bed with a clean design.
If you want a little extra style and comfort, then there are other beds within the Signature range that are upholstered, including the Signature Upholstered and the Signature Comfort.
Should you require the bed to go even lower, the equivalent within Opera's Solo range is the Solo Profiling Bed, which goes down to 11 cm from the floor.
