The easy to read display shows both your speed and battery gauges, while the speed can be changed between three settings - up to a maximum 3 mph, a good walking pace. With a powerful 250W brushless motor and lithium ion battery, your power-assisted wheelchair has a 9 mile range, can climb kerbs up to 5 cm, and manage 10° slopes with ease. Steering is a breeze with no hindrance at all from the powerpack, allowing tight manoeuvring, for example when indoors. Our user-friendly combination is perfect for people who would otherwise struggle with pushing a wheelchair.
Light and Transportable
Our Lightweight Foldable Wheelchair has long been renowned for its transportability - easy to fold up, and weighing a mere 13.5 kg. The Empulse R20 powerpack complements this perfectly - it is the only powerpack that can be folded up with the wheelchair, saving you from having to disconnect and reconnect it each time you travel. The powerpack itself weighs just 3 kg, and the lithium battery is a mere 1.4 kg - keeping your Power Assisted Wheelchair ultra-light and highly transportable. Your wheelchair and powerpack can be folded up together, and fit into the back of almost all cars.
