The Octane FX simply folds into a briefcase style shape, easily slipping in to overhead lockers and car boots. There's no cross-folding and the Q-Lock system means no compromise on stability, rigidity or weight,
The natural shock absorption properties of titanium, soak up surface vibrations and deliver a super-smooth and comfortable ride quality for the user. And the tapered seat and frame design feels snug and provides complete support.
Over 30 individual measurements are taken of the user to ensure the Octane FX fits their individual requirements, providing a personalized fit and optimal comfort. Additionally, RGK provide a full range of ergonomic backrests and seats to ensure comfort, pelvic positioning and balance. And there is a wide range of other accessories available such as wheel locks, side guards, push handles and armrests.
It's important to highlight that the heaviest part is 5.5kg. This light weight makes everyday travel that much easier with the Octane FX but it has the potential to rise to 12kg depending on additional options, excluding third party wheelchair add-ons. With wheels, the total weight of the wheelchair is 7.5kg rising to a maximum of 15kg, again depending in additional options but not including third party add-ons.
